1 article maximum
3,000 words maximum

Rules
No entry fee.
Participants must be 9th grade or above and must attend school.
Work must be 100% original. No plagiarizing. No ChatGPT.
For articles, the information presented must be factual. Sources must be cited at the bottom.
Contestants can submit in all three categories.
No simultaneous submissions.
No previously published pieces.
Awards
One winner and runner-up will be chosen. The winning piece will be posted on the Earth Chronicle’s website.
The winner receives $100 and the Runner up receives $50 Amazon eGift card.
