As the year comes to an end, Trash-Free would like to call all of San Ramon to participate in the Trash-Free Christmas Hunt!

This is an event that incorporates a special giveaway!
*This event is not exclusive to the youth of San Ramon. Adults and others are encouraged to participate.
How do you enter the Christmas Hunt?
1) Visit stores in San Ramon in search of businesses that use less disposable food ware.
Examples of this may include:
– Ask Starbucks for “for-here-ware.” Get your next drink in a reusable mug instead of disposable.
– A boba shop that allows customers to bring in reusable cups. Maybe even offers a discount?
– A restaurant that allows people to bring their own reusable containers instead of using single-use.
– Businesses that are already Trash-Free or participating in sticker systems like Earth Bar! (They give 10% off if you bring a reusable cup with a sticker on the bottle!)
2) After politely asking if they are making efforts to reduce disposable waste, is to take a picture. You must photograph the purchased item with evidence that this store (and you!) are helping to reduce waste.
Examples of this may include:
– Picture of boba drink in reusable cup with Trash-Free Sticker! Maybe even a receipt with a discount (if the store gave discount).
– Picture of leftovers in your own containers from home at a restaurant.

3) Time to submit! Afterward, submit this form! Every entry is a ticket in the raffle.
The youth winner will receive the “2022 Halloween Trash-Free Tiger” title and a special prize.
The adult winner will also receive a different special prize!
